Why combine mixing and mastering
When the same engineer handles both the mix and the master, the entire process is more cohesive. Decisions made during mixing carry through to mastering with full context.
The mix and master package at Studio 22 Southport costs £120 per track, the same price as mixing alone. Mastering is included at no extra charge when booked together.
What is included
- Full stem mix: level balancing, EQ, compression, spatial processing and automation
- Two mix revisions
- Mastering: EQ, compression, limiting and loudness optimisation
- One mastering revision
- Delivered as a high-resolution WAV ready for distribution
